Happy Victoria Day!

Victoria Day was made a holiday in Canada in 1845 to celebrate the birthday of Queen Victoria, who was the Queen of England.... and also Canada. It now celebrates our current Queen --- Queen Elizabeth. We also celebrate the holiday to welcome summer. Even though summer doesn't start until June, our weather in the next few weeks will have some warm sunny days, like summer does!
