You need to be extra helpful today. What will you do?
Parents: We are going to use a very basic message this week. Next week we will add one more sentence. For the children who are beginning to identify letters, please have them point to letters that they know. Or you can make a sound and ask them to point to the letter that makes the sound. Parents can ask their child to point to certain words, or to point to a word that they don't know, and try to figure out the sounds in the word.
