Hearts!

This week we have been focusing on kindness and friendship .
We are having fun being Kindness Ninjas!

We are also learning how to draw and cut out hearts.
Drawing a heart is SO MUCH harder than drawing a circle.  But, practice makes it easier!

We also did a matching activity with hearts.

Some of us found it "too easy" and some of us found it "too hard". For some it was "just right" .
 "Hey, Ms. Brown! We are just like the Three Bears! "

 We also stamped a lot of love on some cards to hang.

 

Happy Lunar New Year!

It is the Year of the Pig!
Happy New Year to all of our families who celebrate!

We used regular tempera paint for our pig bodies, and then used India  ink for the details. We looked at photos and illustrations of pigs for inspiration.
Overheard:  "Hey! Pigs have two big holes for their piggy noses!"
